In this issue of Komi Can’t Communicate Komi’s friend Tadano is kidnapped by a crazy woman who has an obsession with Komi. In an attempt to get him out of the way so she can be with Komi herself she keeps him bound and gagged in her room and plans to bury him in the mountains. This scene is played for laughs because of the high absurdity and is defused with Komi simply rejecting the girl’s advances with a simply written letter “I’ll decide my friends for myself.”
